

After sanding what the carpenters cut from the CNC machine, I gave it a coat of paint to match the scenic designers elevations. Then I took some foam and attached it to a plywood board, upholstered it with the fabric chosen by the designer, and attached it all together.
Below is a stack of styrofoam logs that I painted according to the designer's example log.
