Steak made out of watermelon. We needed something we could replicate multiple of for every show and I thought I would try to paint watermelon with food dye. It ended up working out pretty well and looked great on stage.
We made quite a few gallons of different teas to come up with the right colors for the chardonnay, merlot, and whiskey that the majority of the characters drank in the show.
Below you can find some images of how it looked on stage, and the recipe sheet I made to make sure we provided enough for the entire run of the show.
