Our concept for the project was to fill the need of the faux "Terratopia" theme park and zoo by focusing less of live animals, and instead focus on education on sustainability, environmental preservation, and the importance of animals in our ecosystems. 

We split up the land expansion between the 10 of us and each took on a piece of the project to design so each of us could stretch our creativity legs. I took on the transitional/sensory friendly spaces within the area. Having been assigned the technical lead for the group this was a natural choice as I could implement soothing lighting, audio, and other unique sensory things into both of the areas.

This concept turned into the mood boards below which then inspired the concept art that was used in the presentations and booklets.

On the masterplan the Quiet Place is located on the north side of the expansion, and the Village Garden is on the southwest side, giving visitors coming from either entrance a place to sit and relax for a moment and escape the crowds of the theme park environment.
