Below is a sculpting project I worked on for a concept we designed for the exit of Meow Wolf Houston (Radio Tave). The concept we came up with had to both solve a problem of guest flow and direction as well as give them a memorable portal exit out of the "Tave."
The concept became "Synopsis" which is a portal that happens when you create an exit tave from recent memories while rogue radio waves are flowing. Many of the arrows and other objects directing guests out of the exhibit are echos of things they have seen within the exhibition. This popsicle for instance, is a reference to both ice cream found in Middling Market as well as the icicles found in the walk-in fridge and the mini fridge in the ETNL Radio Station.
